Coloma, El Dorado County
Bell Brothers: A Regional Reputation for Quality
On January 24, 1848, James W. Marshall found gold in Coloma, triggering the California gold rush—and Coloma’s been attracting visitors from across the world ever since. You can still pan for gold in this National Historic Landmark District, but most people come for the kayaking, hiking, whitewater rafting, camping, fishing, and biking along the beautiful fork in the American River.
Service That Sticks Out and Quality Care
The history of the place is still very much active in the old jail and boom town buildings that have been preserved around town. It’s one of California’s most popular ghost towns. But Coloma is no ghost town to us. We’ve been providing HVAC and plumbing services to the small community of residents who live in this magical place for years. Sadly, we’ve never seen a phantom 49er sifting a pan down by the river… but it doesn’t stop us from keeping an eye out.
